EVERY TIME I GET REMINDED THAT CHUCK NORRIS IS A TWAT, I WONDER WHY WE’RE NOT MAKING THOSE JOKES ABOUT SOMEONE WHO’S ACTUALLY COOL

nuderefsarebest:

Like Idris Elba, for example. I can’t think of a single Chuck Norris joke that couldn’t be far better applied to Idris Elba.

  • THERE USED TO BE A STREET NAMED AFTER IDRIS ELBA BUT THEY HAD TO RENAME IT BECAUSE NO ONE CROSSES IDRIS ELBA AND LIVES.
  • IDRIS ELBA AND SUPERMAN ONCE FOUGHT EACH OTHER FOR A BET. THE LOSER HAD TO START WEARING HIS UNDERWEAR ON THE OUTSIDE OF HIS PANTS.
  • SOME MAGICIANS CAN WALK ON WATER. IDRIS ELBA CAN SWIM THROUGH LAND.
  • IDRIS ELBA CAN SLAM A REVOLVING DOOR.
  • DEATH ONCE HAD A NEAR-IDRIS ELBA EXPERIENCE.
  • IDRIS ELBA IS IMMUNE TO HEART ATTACKS. HIS HEART ISN’T NEARLY FOOLISH ENOUGH TO ATTACK HIM.
  • IDRIS ELBA CAN WIN A GAME OF CONNECT FOUR IN THREE MOVES.
  • WHEN IDRIS ELBA DOES A PRESS-UP, HE ISN’T LIFTING HIMSELF UP. HE’S PUSHING THE EARTH DOWN.

Try to tell me this shit isn’t better with Idris Elba.

You can’t. Because it is.

My go-to person for these kinds of jokes is Vin Diesel, usually.

Deer area.   Been allowing myself to shapeshift a little more lately, and play in different forms.

opinion on nounself? 👀

Like as in “Himself, herself, themself, xymself, catself?”

I honestly don’t know. It’s pretty heavily linked with mogai identities and doesn’t merge well in language. I also don’t see a reason to use a noun as a pronoun. Though I guess it can be a good part of gender exploration.
My PERSONAL opinion is eeeeeeeh why?
But like, if it makes someone more comfortable, I don’t care. Go crazy, tell me what to call you and I will call you that.

I just stick with “they”, like, we have a fine neutral pronoun, people take shit too far sometimes.

I am not familiar with this otherkin 2.0 lingo.  What is a mogai identity?   And does it have anything to do with this:

MOGAI – marginalized orientations, genders, and identities

Was made to replace LGBT(QQIAANP+) for obvious reasons but now has somehow evolved into “all non- gay / bi / pan / trans identities” like aspec folks and more specialized labels like genderflux, stargender, autochorissexual, etc. Nounself pronouns are a nonbinary thing, not an otherkin thing; but there was confusion and people think they’re an otherkin thing now for some reason. Because they’re nontraditional on tumblr, they’re supposedly MOGAI and therefore Bad and Wrong.

It’s silly.

Thank you for explaining it to me I truly was wondering, i’m 41 and losing track of all these terms.  I have never heard this term outside of Tumblr.   I’m familiar with genderflux but not the other two, nor even most of the ones I see on Tumblr anymore.

What if you were dating a moth prince and living in his kingdom and he knew how out of place you felt so he made you dozens of silk dresses and blankets and gave you lots of fuzzy shawls and scarves so you wouldn’t stand out so much and always said you were so beautiful you were glowing and occasionally bump right into your face because it was a little joke and he would pretend you were a light bulb and give you tiny kisses

Half of me is like “what the fuck am I looking at” and the other half finds this inexplicably adorable and good.

@shirosucks

Okay, so, I saw this and did a little sketch.

why am i imagining it like this

I’d be totally OK with a moth prince ..

Weeb Wednesday: Wolf Children (2012)

Drama, slice of life, romance (movie)

Hana, a hard-working college student, falls in love with a mysterious man who attends one of her classes though he is not an actual student. As it turns out, he is not truly human either. On a full moon night, he transforms, revealing that he is the last werewolf alive. Despite this, Hana’s love remains strong, and the two ultimately decide to start a family. Hana must now face the hardships of not only raising children, but also the challenges of being a werewolf in modern society.

Wolf Children is a masterpiece of a movie. It is emotional, sweet, and surprisingly wholesome. Seeing the everyday lives of the family, one builds a connection with the characters who are dynamic and familiar. We see the children grow up before our eyes, and it is all presented by the legendary Mamoru Hosoda in his customary gorgeous animation. Feel, cry, and laugh alongside this colorful cast. Definitely give this movie a shot.

Just as a warning I don’t care what kind of therian you are, if you are one this movie will fuck you up emotionally for weeks.

what about those who feel gender dysphoria, have a desire to transition, but probably aren’t going to due to life or health circumstances?  Are they trans?   I’m just curious where the community stands on this.

I may not agree with all SJW ideals but at least they killed cringe culture..

Is the Nature court one very large court? Are there smaller, more specific sub-courts within it? Or is Nature less of a formal court and more of an alignment, like Seelie and Unseelie?

Almost all things humans are calling courts, like Seelie, Unseelie, Nature and others, are really alignments.   This being said, there are courts based on them.  But there isn’t one single head, we don’t have a single top king or queen or ruler or anything.  Even the largest courts don’t have any monopoly on power.

Long story short, there’s no one ruler of any court.  Nature is often less formal, but we can be, when we need to be.   But if we had to be, we wouldn’t, you see?
