okay, as a straight guy I have a complaint

So what do you call a group of women?

Friends

Then why are a group of men a threat? A group of women can be a threat if they wanted to

The difference is that women have to want to be a threat to be one whereas men just be like that

Not all men are like that

And not all bacteria are pathogenic but we still wash our hands out of fear of the ones that are so what’s your point?

Washing your hands obsessively can cause health issues because the vast majority of your body’s bacteria are beneficial to your health, and removing them can in extreme cases cause death. People are the same way, some people are bad, but isolate yourself and you can cause psychological health problems.

In summary, you’re just a sexist piece of shit using pseudoscience to justify an irrational fear instead of dealing with it. Men don’t “just be like that”, anyone can be a threat if they decide to cause harm, but most people don’t because most people are a lot healthier psychologically than you are.

Anyway, a group of men is called a ‘threat’.

Repeating yourself doesn’t make you right, it only shows you can’t justify your bigotry.

You already called us bigots. Repeating yourself doesn’t make you right. :

You’re generalizing a demographic, that’s bigotry. It’s the same logic used to demonize racial minorities that you’re using, neither is acceptable. Trying to deny that without even remotely trying to make a logical argument is only further proving my point.

I can tell you firsthand that being a man is definitely not on par with being demonized for being black. And logic is probably not your strong suit if you would call microbiology a pseudoscience, sooo…

You’re just triggered and a group of men is called a ‘threat’. 🤓

Please, tell me more about the shape of their skulls.

Demonization is demonization, pretending it’s okay when you do it is only proving my point.

This isn’t demonization, is the thing. And since you’re not a man and I am, I think I’m more qualified to decide what demonizes me, a man. 🤓

Humans are individuals, so speak for yourself, you being dangerous doesn’t mean all men are, it just means you have a problem.

This just in: The fairy otherkin thinks I’m the deranged one.

Yep, what’s it like to be so crazy that you think your entire gender is evil presumably based off projecting from your own insecurities? Or are you one of those “nice guys” that’s “not like the other bad mean men :c”?

I never said my entire gender is evil. 🤔 I said this post isn’t demonizing. 🤓 To not demonize literally means ‘to not make out as evil’. 😇

10/10 mental gymnastics right there. If men are a threat and women aren’t, that implies that men are inherently more dangerous than women on some level, which implies something malicious is going on since we’re talking about people, hence demonization.

Alternatively, are you trying to say men are passively hazardous without having to do anything? Like looking at a man will kill you? Is the very presence of a man hazardous to my health?

It’s not demonizing, my dear. If a woman sees a group of men walking toward her on the street and feels threatened, that’s valid.

It’s really not, that’s prejudice, they’re not a real threat only a perceived one.

Unless of course they’re just careful of people in general when in public, that’s just paranoia, and again, the threats aren’t real.

Nah, knowing the stories of women being harassed stocked, molested or killed makes it valid if they perceive a group of men as a threat. It’s not prejudiced against us men.

Would you say the same about black people or Muslims? Cause statistically speaking there’s more violence from those groups, but that doesn’t make hating/fearing them okay.

Cut your “I’m not like other men uwu” act, you can’t expect me to take you seriously when you seriously think you’re less worthy of respect than I am.

This isn’t racial or religious, so stop trying to take it there just because you’re bigoted, lmao.

I never said ‘I’m not like other men’ or ‘I’m less worthy of respect’. 🤔

I’m bigoted for pointing out that you use the same logic as racists, seems legit. Anyways, you’re a threat apparently so stop talking to me, you’re too dangerous to be in my notes.

Clearly I don’t since I’m not attacking any racial demographic—but you are, so wouldn’t that mean you use the same logic as racists?

Oh, now you’re calling a man threatening? But hbur dur men’s rights male oppression 🤪

Are… Are you okay? Like, how could someone not comprehend the idea that treating someone poorly because of something inherent in their birth is wrong? How could someone not comprehend the idea of pointing out how someone’s own logic could go against them, and just think the same logic is being used in an act of hypocrisy?

I’m sorry, I can’t come up with any response to stupidity of this caliber, I figured you’d have to be pretty stupid to buy into bigotry against yourself but this is just a whole new level.

Allow me to do my best to explain:

You are a bigot, you think men should be treated differently, this is no different from generalizing black people, you are trying to reason that because a lot of stories exist of men doing bad things, that it’s okay to generalize. This is the same logic as “black people are criminals, stay away from them”. Neither is okay.

I’m calling you threatening, because you yourself claim men are threatening, you are a man, so by your own admission, you are a threat, so I’m going to treat you how you claim your sex should be treated. Please, PLEASE don’t reply until you get some self respect and realize that you’re not a worse person for being a man.

I am actually surprised you (or really anyone) engaged this line of discourse.   Have you, in the entire history of Tumblr, seen a post that says, “Gee, you might have a point there, maybe I should rethink how I see the world?” It doesn’t happen.   If anyone DOES decide to grow up on Tumblr, they usually delete their blog and start fresh before admitting they think like a bigot.

Anyone who believes a cis-het person is trash just because they are cis and heterosexual, or those who are TERFs, or say things like “die cis scum”, or in general make broad sweeping generalizations over a class of people based on gender, race or sexual orientation… well they’ve probably been educated stupid by Tumblr, and unfortunately they aren’t open to listening to a different point of view.  In fact this is the most close-minded period of time i’ve seen in my life.

I don’t know at what point hate became cool, but it has brought our world into a new dark ages.   I don’t want to live on this planet anymore.
